We collect information you provide directly to us, and information generated as you use the platform. This may include:

• Account and organisation membership details
• Assessment evidence and business documents you upload for an engagement
• Responses, scores, comments and remediation data created during an assessment
• Communications with us
• Usage and device data, including analytics collected via cookies (see our Cookie Policy)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain and improve the platform and deliver your assessment
• Produce your board-ready reports, findings and remediation plans
• Send technical notices, support and administrative messages
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Understand how the site is used so we can improve it
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Data Storage and Security

Structured assessment data is held in a managed PostgreSQL database and file evidence is stored in S3-compatible object storage (Hetzner Object Storage, EU-hosted in our primary production configuration). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Client access is scoped by organisation membership and enforced server-side; authorised poview.ai personnel may access your data to deliver and support your engagement.

AI and Your Data

We use AI models to score evidence against regulatory requirements. Client content is processed only to generate findings for your engagement. We do not use client evidence to train AI models. See our AI Disclaimer for how AI-generated findings should be used.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Analytics cookies run only after you consent via our cookie banner (Google Consent Mode); until then, analytics storage is denied. You can change your choice anytime through “Cookie settings” in the footer. See our Cookie Policy.

Data Retention

We retain engagement data for the life of the engagement and remove it on request after closure, subject to any agreed regulatory record-keeping period.

Your Rights
